Wedding Fayre’s…. I’m going out on a limb here and may be controversial but, truth be told I am not a fan of Wedding Fayre’s. Don’t get me wrong, they are a great place to find the services you need, it gives you a chance meet the people, see their product and I suppose it is just a nice day out. However, during Wedding Fayre’s I cant help but feel like a salesman which I suppose I am at that point! I just feel like a double glazing salesman knocking door to door.
Anyway before I babble on too long, the relevance to Amy & Marks Wedding is, I attended a Wedding Fayre some time ago and the turn out was very poor, most couples and brides I met that day had already booked a photographer. Just when I was ready to pack up I was approached by Amy and her Mum. My Wife and I hit it off straight away with Amy and her Mum and the moment they left I said to Karen “I so hope I get to shoot their Wedding even if it is the only booking I get today!” to which Karen replied “I know. How nice were they? and she is going to be such a gorgeous bride!”.
A few weeks passed then I got the call… I was booked! Their Wedding did not disappoint, the venue Peel Hey in Frankby was absolutely perfect and beautifully prepared with a lot of the work having been done by the couple themselves. The weather was perfect and it really did just turn out to be such a beautiful and personal Wedding. I genuinely felt privileged to have been invited to be part of their Wedding Day.
