Wordsworth Wedding Worderland

Arriving at The Wordsworth Hotel in Grasmere on a cold and very wet evening was not very inspiring ready for the following day’s Wedding photography. Don’t get me wrong, the Wordsworth Hotel itself was very welcoming and I was oh so glad to get into their beautiful ‘home from home’ as they describe it.

Arriving late in the evening the sun had set and I could not appreciate the surroundings of the Hotel and the village of Grasmere. Instead I focused indoors, planning my next day and ensuring I found all the best spots for photo opportunities, presuming the Wedding day would bring more of this torrential rain…

I then met Amy & Stuart to talk through our plans for the following day. I assured them there would be plenty of opportunity for pictures and to presume that we would be staying indoors.

Alas the gods looked down and seen fit to give us the most glorious lake district Wedding Day…wordsworth-hotel-weddingwedding-photography-grasmere

Thank you Tricia, sometimes colour just is not needed is it? If you look closely at the one of the best man bent over, he had dropped the Wedding rings, look closely at the expression on the guests faces! Priceless…

Thanks so much Stacy thats exactly what I aim for with my Wedding Photography, a natural unobtrusive recording of the day that tells a story…
